We are planning a couple of travels coming up soon – nothing is booked as yet. The first one will be a weekend tour to the Christmas Markets in Brugge and Brussels. I don’t really expect to buy alot, but I am more looking forward to the snowy Christmas atmosphere.

The plane arrived in London early but we drove around the tarmac for about 20 minutes before the control tower could tell us where to plug the plane. They have so many flights that come in an out that you don't know where you'll be until you land. It's a very strange system and I'm sure that's how all the delays start! At least we didn't have to worry about being rushed and missing our flight home as we had a 7 hour layover.

... Silk Road. We pedalled through the hustle and bustle of the Muslim Quarter, squeezing past carts and tuk-tuks. The sandstone monument is slap-bang in the middle of a busy highway and depicts travellers and a camel train. We also viewed the Small Goose Pagoda, a 15 storey pagoda built in 707. It is said that a violent earthquake in 1487 split the pagoda from top to bottom, but another in 1556 brought the two sides back together!

... was, we lost Jacqui's 2 new necklaces (don't worry, they weren't that expensive, but she never even got the chance to wear them), all the Brazilian coffee we'd bought for my neighbor, Jacqui's dad, and Oz, and most of Jacqui's socks. ... was just amazed. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. The faces are trimmed with gold and the Houses of Parliment that are connected to it have so much detail and so many angels and figures carved into it. Big Ben was definitely one of my favorite things about the city. Near the Clock Tower on the other side of the Thames is The Eye. It's a big ferris wheel that takes 30 minutes to go around. I wanted to go on it but it cost £15 which is about £30. I hear it's a great view ...

... London Eye, be a passenger of the double decker bus and tour Central London - and listen to the great tales/stories behind its beautiful buildings/structures. LOL! We ended up going to Fabric (16 pounds to get in! WTF?!?!) and the lot of us manage to lose Piers, Phuong and Attiq immediately..we somehow managed to find them in this large club that was sooooo smoky you couldn't see past your nose, which made it very difficult to tell ...
