          Indonesian independence day

Our first stop back in Indonesia would be Bandung, located in the middle of the island of Java not far from the capital, Jakarta. Bandung is famous for its shopping outlets, street devoted to cheap jeans and volcanic craters just outside the town. Our hotel was right in the middle of its busiest street which meant getting around was a nightmare and there were cars at all of the night. We arrived as they were enjoying a three ...

The hotel that night was a wonderful little oasis and had a great open air restaurant set around a huge fish pond. It seemed to be really popular with local well-heeled families for Friday lunch, and our evening meal was great with a huge variety of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. Though the stall look small but the delicacy was nice. I especially taken few ...

... earlier, it took 12 hours normally from Bandung to Jepara (place for transit from bus to ship/boat to Karimun Jawa).

          And then we slept.

          • The bus we were using is PO Bus (Bus Patas) named Bandung Express. It cost us Rp85.000/person from Bandung to Jepara.
          • The bus pool is located in Jl. Dr. Cipto, Bandung. Near the pool, you can find KFC, and Istana Plaza Mall.

          Running man

... the movie. Awakening was the movie; a ghost horror film with a whole bunch of twist - B grade not Hollywood but still a continually engaging plot with a few jumpy scenes. The history aspect as well as the character of the nurse were done well - but the man with the gun aspect was confusing and unnecessary. Then the girls prayed. ... I was supposed to be breaking fast with ...
