Modernes neues Kettenhotel in der Nähe vom Flughafen Sarasota - Bradenton. Von Fluglärm/Beinträchtigungen nichts zu hören, also gute Wahl.
Große Zimmer mit Sitzgelegenheit, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle. Pool. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Morgens ein für amerikanische Verhältnisse großes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Empfehlung!

We're currently watching the NASCAR racing on the Telly. We tried to watch Rebel Without a Cause, but it was in French, and Ken jacked up.

... Jean, having ordered me to shut up, was refusing to hand over any money to get out of her illegal alien status. At one point, she held out her wrists to the officials and said "I suppose you'd better cart me off to the slammer then". Ken was looking similarly stubborn and saying he'd rather leave the USA than pay that much.

As it happened, that wasn't one of the options.

... closed on Mondays. Today it was open (though also mostly deserted) and we paid our $12 for the 5 of us and got changed. N took quite a bit of convincing / coercing since it was unfortunately cloudy out and not super hot out. But once we threw him in the water with his "floatie" on, he started giggling and having a grand old time. The 80 degree water felt a little chilly at first but it was perfect for swimming laps and goofing ...
