Modernes neues Kettenhotel in der Nähe vom Flughafen Sarasota - Bradenton. Von Fluglärm/Beinträchtigungen nichts zu hören, also gute Wahl.
Große Zimmer mit Sitzgelegenheit, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle. Pool. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Morgens ein für amerikanische Verhältnisse großes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Empfehlung!

On the beach, there were several small areas cordoned off with sign saying that these were turtle egg laying spots! The sea on the gulf coast is like bath warm. Our next stop was at Sarasota.....briefly for some brunch and a quick look round. I'd remembered a place in Naples from when I visited Florida in 1989 called First Watch that did ...

    Day 1 travel to Alaska
The day has finally arrived! We are all very excited to go to this beatiful state and escape the heat for a little while. After we have packed the minimal amount of luggage, we get to the gate in orlando barely on time for our first flight. Smooth sailing to Denver and on we went to Anchorage. Unfortunately only 30 minutes ...

... Unfortunately we were too late for the 10am tour of the historic mansion there, and we had places to be, so we didn't fully explore the trails in the park there. We did, however, grab some info about nearby state parks, hiking trails, and places to bike. There really is a lot to do around here!

So far it's been very pleasant, sunny weather, but all the water we've dipped our toes in has been freezing. Even T, with ...
