On Friday, October 10th we flew out to Milwaukee, WI to join in celebrating Adam and Christine getting married!
We arrived at the hotel and got ready for the rehearsal and dinner as Michael was a groomsmen and needed to get the Catholic wedding traditions down! Leah and Tina Whitnell caught up as they worked on when to kneel and when to stand.

After dinner, we continued our walk on the River Walk, saw cruise boats and the Fonz!
And, of course, this is the place where Pabst started and the home of Miller Brewing! Lots of Miller and Pabst signs. And, we drove past the original home of Frederick Pabst. Wonderful old, well-maintained homes here in Milwaukee.

So the 7am bus trip from Detroit to Milwaukee was again delayed while we waited for the people crossing the boarder...it was running late anyway but we get the impression people from Detroit do not like people crossing over from Canada. However we do not think Greyhound is a very reliable mode of transport for punctuality.

... voucher. Beer voucher was spent at a bar who's name escapes me, but Les enjoyed the outside fire pit which is probably the last thing you need on a day like this. A few beers and bars later we managed to grab some food at the "Swingin Door Exchange" where we tried the "Spicy Vermouth Carrots". Carrots have never tasted so good and been so unhealthy. From what i could tell it was carrots soaked in sugar and butter, yum!
Had some more beers and talked to some people ...
