On this journey, Dick and I are excited to see new natural sites on this trip. No new sites in Indianapolis. However, we did see a man-made site we never saw before, an all electric I3 BMW. Beautiful car!

Drove 401 miles in 6.5 hours on day 1. Explored the city on day 2.
After the long drive we were pretty exhausted. Luckily we managed to find a great Somali restaurant a block from the hotel for our dinner. Great spicy food for real cheap...still paid for from our casino haul the previous night, even sweeter.

... The load out on the other hand was not so smooth. I couldn't help but get the feeling that video was the red headed stepchild of the tour. We were shuffled out of the way, limited on resources to accomplish what needed to get done, than delayed nearly two hours before being able to load our trucks. After finally getting loaded and off to the bus, I was rudely awoken by a bad bout with catering. The perfect end to the day... not.
... the edge of the lake watching the yachts sail by. We then tried to do a tour of the Lakefront Brewery (boutique) but there were none available for the rest of the day, so after trialling a plate of 5 beers each it was off to the Miller Brewing Company to try our luck with a tour there. Then it was down the road again and this time into a lovely old building to sample yet more beer. On the way home ...
... on the road by 6 am so we had covered so pretty decent ground by lunchtime. I think the general feeling is that if you keep it to 100 you seem to cover it pretty quickly. At one point just before Madison we crossed the Mississippi River which at that point is a long way up stream however it is still massive even at that point. It makes you realise it is a very big piece of water. It is quite as you imagine to with small tributaries every where ...
