After breakfast, we drove into Jackson to the Mississippi Arts Center where the International Museum of Muslim Culture is housed. We made it to Canton, Mississippii on Friday. Canton is a small town of about 30,000 but has one of the 2, Nissan plants in the USA. The plant is huge, it is one mile long and you can get tours during the week. It was a place we would have liked to see:((

... apart from some nice architecture and a few green spaces within the city. Nonetheless, we explored the city for a few hours before retiring to our hotel which had a swimming pool and cable TV!!
A bit broken from New Orleans we spent the late afternoon in the pool, warmed up a couple of microwave meals and watched some dodgy American films.... just what the doctor ordered!!
The next day we left Jackson for Clarksdale, home of the Delta Blues!
