    4:30 pm: We are off, sorta. Actually we are sitting in the Memphis airport where our flight has been delayed due to weather. With only a 59 minute scheduled layover in Atlanta to connect with our second flight to Paris, this may be a problem. Oh well, nothing to do but go with the flow.

    I know I am getting into the spirit of the South when I find a tick on Oscar. I remove it, of course, but the only thing in reach to disinfect it with is bourbon and that will do just fine!
