      ... evening after sundown and began the 17-hour sprint across the American Heartland to the Badlands, driving through Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. While we spent 17 hours actually driving, the trip itself took nearly 21 hours, with us arriving a little before 7pm on Friday.
