Close to everything in the stockyards area. Bars, Billy Bobs, food, but still quiet and clean. Would definately stay here again.

... them, it looked magical. Everyone is very friendly, I have shaken hands with a Desert Storm veteran in his Bike Club regalia. Been wished 'a top of the morning to you'. Had street busking guitarists set up right near us as we had coffee to lighten our day. And last but not least meet Zarina in Juliette's Jewels who would like to come to Australia, so we are Facebook friends now so she knows where the good places are; e.g. Townsville North Queensland ...

From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. Our next stop was to relive November 22, 1963. The sixth floor of the Book Depository building at Dealey Plaza was full of ...

The Stockyards offer a great taste of old Texan history with the old- original brick buildings, and its classical saloon. The Stockyards are located in the heart of Fort Worth, at 130 E. Exchange Ave, TX. They have ...

... about life in McKinney, including, apparently, some shena****ns among the city officials. That sounds familiar to people whose ex-governor and his wife were just sent to jail for a lengthy list of charges along the lines of taking bribes and pandering to donors or whatever the equivalent legal terms are. McKinney was recently named the Money magazine top place in America to live, but I would vote it down just for the traffic at the one ...

We will apparently be able to edit and update our travel pod entries while not connected to a network and batch the data for later. This will be perfect so we can take our time throughout the trip without a wireless tether being necessary in order to well catalogue our trip as it is occurring. I also have been out of the written word for a spell and will take some patience to dust off old skills. I try to write things as I would say them or would care to hear them and hope ...
