... I fell in love with as a child was called Vulcan, a story about a bald eagle. One of the ones I saw today was not fully mature and had a black head, but was definitely a bald eagle.
We are now descending into the Denver area. This also reminds me of driving into Guatemala City. We emerged from a tunnel and suddenly saw the sea of lights below, the plateau that is Denver, another mile high city.

Now 10 days out from my Ironman, in taper mode, I can really look back at all of the hours of training I've put in.
