    ... not that I've eaten potpourri, but you get what I mean).

    Sacred cows that roam the streets... no grass fed beef here (more like trash fed?). They are everywhere, especially in Chennai, where these cows are even decorated with ribbons for celebrations like Pongal.

    It is a land of contrasts:

    • the food is incredibly spicy and their sweets are almost unbearably sweet...
    • there is trash everywhere along the roadside, but ...

    Disneyland Los Angeles is split over 2 parks - Disneyland and California Adventure. The original park has some good rides and simulators but is mainly themed at the 'younger' visiters although the "it's a small world after all" boat ride was actually quite fun!

    ... good rides = big lines. The lines were insane, you would line up, into a line, then you would be moved through, to another line, around a corner, through a door, into another line, here there everywhere = lines. We were so sick of lines by about 6pm but glad we had the extended stay until later in the night, as the sun started to go down and all of the lights of Disneyland started to light up it was amazing!!!     ... Pier for some fun and games. We had a group competition on the Toy Story Mania ride. I only got 86K but the group record is 190K. After the Toy Story ride we went on Ariel's Undersea Adventure. I thought it was okay but it was not a supposed to be a thrill ride, it was a scene ride where you go through all the scenes of audio animatronics.     ... It was so much fun and of course Chrissy got emotional a couple of times, especially when her favourite Disney songs were performed! We went to the ice hockey, basketball, Universal Studios, Santa Monica and Venice Beaches and Hollywood Boulevard, seeing so many famous places along the way.
