Sacred cows that roam the streets... no grass fed beef here (more like trash fed?). They are everywhere, especially in Chennai, where these cows are even decorated with ribbons for celebrations like Pongal.
It is a land of contrasts:

I head down to the pier and grab a spot in the stands to catch the quarter finals of the Womens event. This is #6 on the tour and it's a close race in the championship so far. With heat 1 over, heat 2 is up and Tyler Wright is in the water. I met Tyler last year so it would be good to se her win her heat!

I then made a move towards Dodger Stadium via a short jaunt uphill to catch another sight of 'the sign' and headed east along Sunset Boulevard for the evening's entertainment.
