    ... other than taking this tour and Elaine was desperate to see it, and it is said that there are always wet footprints around this long empty pool. The scary(ish) tour was very Disneyesque, and you get to see quite a few areas of the vessel that wouldn't otherwise be possible to visit.     The Layover

    The layover was halfway enjoyable thanks to a Golden Girls marathon and the hotel gym :-)

    I arrived at the airport around 3 pm - a full 4 hours before the Fiji counter opened and 7.5 hours before flight departure. Must be ahead of the Islanders!

    Come to find out, the flight last night was OVERbooked and other passengers were turned away before me.

    ... She introduced me to another youthie, Cairie* from Canada and we boarded the bus to the ship. Upon arrival, we met all the other seasonal youthies: Jenny*, Earl*, Brad*, Kalie*, Vanna*, and Yolanda* (and Heather* as well, but she boarded later than us). Most were from Canada with three others from the US (Kalie* from Colorado, Yolanda* from Florida, and Heather* from California/Germany). It's rare I see American crew onboard let alone work with them!

    ... Peters ahead & doesn't see the big sign that says no cycles or pedestrians - thanks officer! It was so scary, it was at least half mile with a narrow pavement to push the bikes on with cars non stop rushing past, unbelievable. Eventually out, on & on this is exhausting especially as there's so much traffic, it's hard cycling on the pavement too as you have to keep waiting for the light at the crossings but it's too scary on the road.     ... and stop beings slaves just to get very little in return. Its true and every first world citizen knows the quality of life in America doesn't stack up. ...but we have great music, freedom, and theres plenty to do and spend your money on..so its worth it, right?

    Anyways, these guys are really nice and really little so we are really lucky we found them.
