    We started the day at 6am by taking a taxi to Long Beach California, where my dad did a 10km run. We watched and meet some local policemen, who let me sit on their motor bike. I played on a bouncy castle while dad did his run. We went back to the hotel and had a rest and then went shopping in the afternoon.     ... were sitting in the hostel's Tiki Garden, which seemed surprisingly quiet. The only other occupant was Kim's new found friend, the Raccoon, that was peering down directly above us over the fence ready to pounce.     ... to experience some rides, so we go down to the lower Lot where they all are. Before we get there, I get a pic with a very hot guy who is wearing stilts, although for my photos he crouches down. We try out "The Mummy" ride (another movie Paul has not seen) and it is a roller coaster almost entirely in the dark- scary but fun!
