... that it’s off-season, I am hoping to get a good deal by turning up and haggling.

There are a lot of people milling around in the departures hall here. A few people standing chatting by a pillar across the room. People sitting in rows staring out, waiting for boarding to start. There’s a young woman sat down with feet up on luggage. Outside, people ...

... and 2x pop up cards from the hotel gift shop before relaxing in our room. It's now 3.00pm. Andrew headed out to get some water for our room, the gift shop is extremely expensive. ... and informative it was too. Even with the detailed directions that the tour gave us we still managed to lose ourselves on this huge vessel, all the corridors and walkways look the same, and you don't realise how many levels there are on a ship of this size. After our audio tour we go on the Ghost Tour, apparently the Queen Mary is the seventh most haunted location in the U. S. This included visiting the swimming pool which couldn't ...

... grand hotel anymore, as there were when we visited in 2011. I am glad of that too, as it just wasn't right! They have been relocated to a reserve about 15 min out of town apparently. Rose was still very impressed with the building inside including the atrium bar with resident roaring gorillas.... Caught us by surprise! We took a stroll down the main strip that day and took in the sights of all the massive resorts including listening to Elvis sing Viva Las Vegas as the fountains if ...
