Unfortunately, it was not a thing seen often, so i had to drown my sorrows at the hotel bar(Where drinking was allowed), in the worse part of town, where all the prostitutes(both men and female) hung out. After 17-18 hours in the air I was very pleased to be getting off the plane in Dubai and not have to get back on a connecting flight like many other passengers. I cleared customs quickly, found my suitcase and was met by the lovely Malita from Cox & Kings Dubai who is my hostess for the two days I'm going to be here.

The sheikh would hunt during the day, then a desert majlis would be held around the campfire in the evenings, when the Bedouin would come to pay their respects and raise with him any matters of concern.

... a cool relaxed way we purchased a 24 hour pass on the Red Bus and boarded it the first day around 4.00 pm and sat with the wind blowing in our faces whilst we listened to the running commentary of the areas we were passing. Moorfields Eye Hospital and other western medical centres were all established here and the sky scrapers were everywhere.
