Also schnell einen Termin im SPA gemacht f�r unsere W�nsche (Fussmassage mit Pedicure f�r mich und Pedicure und Manicure f�r Monica). Da jeweils ein Paket gratis war, mussten wir nur das Andere dazu zahlen. Schon war die 3. Stunde im Terminal ebenfalls rum. Es war richtig belebend und hat den F�ssen gut getan. Dann habe ich mir noch schnell die Schuhe polieren lassen und ab ging es zum Essen. Wir konnten ...

After awhile, we attempted to go for a walk. I bought a t-shirt at the Emirates store and we looked in a toy store for the meowing cats one last time. It was just too crowded to keep going. We went to some payphones near our gate and used up the last of our phone card minutes calling home. The eight hour time difference always made phone calls interesting. It's weird saying goodnight while you're watching the sun blaring outside.

... to do but we have some time to research our possible destinations in Switzerland and firm up our itinerary and hotel reservations.

In between were umpteen trips to our favourite malls picking up apparel..specially woolens.. we feared that having lived in hot weather so long we'd definitely find the Swiss countryside chilly..

We were supposed to wake up at 3.00 am but Alan made me get out of bed at 2.30 am, insisting that it would take me more than an hour to get packed. Which was probably true. Mohammad, as usual was punctual, arriving on the dot of 4.00 am and as it happened we were pleased we had plenty of time. Initially we thought it sounded like a very early start for a 7.30 am flight but we had not realised that it would take us an hour to travel to the airport from our hotel in Tehran ...
