I drove the almost 400 miles from Las Cruces to Steve and Sherri's house in Gilbert, Arizona today. At David's suggestion, I stopped at a rest stop in Arizona that had some amazing rock formations.
Sherri is Suzi's sister. I will stay with them until Monday and then visit with my Aunt Dorothy who lives in Phoenix.

Two final observations on the day: Phoenix is bloody hot - 112 when we arrived around 6:00 pm. And, the locals like to add about 15-20 mph to the posted speed limit. Suited me fine. I managed to find a red Corvette to shadow for about 50 miles on southbound I-17.
