    The car that has got us all across the country needs to be sold, me, Paul and Chris headed out and got it cleaned up, shampooed etc. There is a site here called Craigslist which we will advertise it on. The car came up like new and looked better than when we first got it. Paul suggested Monument Avenue which is a real historic place in Richmond, was good to see this side of things also.

    We departed Atlanta this morning, was supposed to be an early start, but one of the bags had been misplaced, so we were delated about half an hour. Now we are on our way toTennessee . The place to buy fireworks.

    Cindy and I got up and going and headed toward the Nashville Fairgrounds to shop til we dropped. (It was so hot, that statement can almost be taken literally!) This flea market is said to be one of the top ten in the US, and it definitely lived up to the reputation. We had a great time roaming around in this indoor/outdoor mass of junk, antiques and crafts!

    ... here on her way to California to learn more about Country/Western music. We went to lunch at Jack's Barbeque standing in line out the door for 20 minutes. From there we walked over to the Country Music Museum and spent a couple of hours learning about the roots of Country music. I didn't know that the British brought fiddle playing over here originally. Of course, there are many influences that shaped blues, jazz, and country music.
