Coming off the Natchez Trace Parkway is this truly quaint little town of Franklin which has a lovely, historic Main Street. With a self guided walking tour in hand, we walked down the street learning the history of each of the buildings which date back to the 1800s. A few blocks from the Main Street are lovely antebellum homes and as well, homes that, if they could talk, would have wonderful stories straight out of the civil war days.

We partially agreed to her suggestion and began ...

... Opry Hotel which was like an entire ecosystem built inside a hotel. It reminded me of Bio-Dome but with restaurants and hotel rooms. We had a look around and got to see a fountain show while we had a drink. We walked back to nearby our hotel for dinner, only in Nashville you don't have to walk in silence, every traffic light seemed to have a music box next to it pumping out country tunes.

Next day we checked out the ...
