      I was a bit all over the place when I arrived to be honest – the flight was at 2am getting me in around 5, so as well as the lack of sleep it was also quite the culture shock to be back in the States after 8 months of fried chicken and poo beans.

      On our final day in Miami, we hired some electric bikes and went out to Key Biscayne. Amazing national park area with paved bike tracks most of the way from downtown Miami. So close to the city and yet so peaceful, with people fishing and riding bikes. We did enjoy our first ever rides on the electric bikes. I ...

      ... serve frozen crab so not sure why anyone would visit this place. After this, we walked up Ocean Av before backtracking on Collins Av. Not a lot of interesting shops but it was just great being out in the summer air.

      Actually made it to the gym today. Quick run and some weights - oh, how unfit am I!!! Anyway, had a light dinner which hopefully makes it ok.

      Tomorrow, we will try the beach.

      ... World's many treats and charms - food obviously excepted - I didn't think their scary grown up rides were all that great. And we did them all (splash mountain 3 times!!!). From a purely adult rides perspective I still prefer Dreamworld. But neither Disney, Dreamworld or, for that matter, the launch simulator at Kennedy, can compare to the speed boat tour Coops and I did around Miami today. This company does tours with mini speed boats ...
