... We would be lying if we said that we weren't feeling quite emotional. It's trips like this that will stick with you forever. Lets hope it's not the last one.

... to our rooms, and when our bags began to arrive, rapidly became settled in. Bottles were opened and first drinks consumed as we toasted the start of vacation. Karina would spend the rest of the day and night recovering as we explored and took pictures of everything like a trio of Japanese tourists. Dinner was delicious, starting with cured salmon and candied tomatoes, followed by brisket for Caroline and prawns for me. A little more wandering and we all turned in by 10 ...

One more leg of the trip to go...on to Newark
... us of panthers, and that we were in a "Panther Preserve". Well we didn't see any, but we did see a lot of birds and a croc (or gator we don't know which is which), in the canal along side of the road. When we put our heads on the pillows in Don's guest room we were so glad that we had taken the time to come and take a hilarious walk down memory lane with our Don.
