... the breakers was hilarious and a number of them were getting absolutely smashed. Me and the other Aussie girl were laughing non stop on the way out. After the water cooled down a bit we headed back to the beach and just relaxed there for a while. As you'd expect in Miami the beach was packed with everybody and it seems literally anything goes in Miami! We had to meet up as a group to return to the hostel ready for the nights activities. ... that we could now rely on our Australian twang English. Asking for directions, general conversations and meeting local people were all going to be so much easier. We'd booked a hostel in South Beach, 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and famous Ocean Drive and Lincoln Lane. Sarah almost fainting with excitement the first time she saw a Mac makeup store . Essentially South Beach is a small island to Miami city ...

... us of panthers, and that we were in a "Panther Preserve". Well we didn't see any, but we did see a lot of birds and a croc (or gator we don't know which is which), in the canal along side of the road. When we put our heads on the pillows in Don's guest room we were so glad that we had taken the time to come and take a hilarious walk down memory lane with our Don.
