I made it back Seomun Market. This time with Colin and Toby. As I put a bit more planning into this trip, we left earlier in the day with plenty of time to walk around. Needless to say, Christmas in Korea is nothing like Christmas in the west. It's celebrated, of course. It is actually a national holiday here. However, like most traditions, its just... different.

Now, there is a Santa Claus. And of course, he is Korean. At least, I am told he is. I have yet to see any images of Santa. There are Christmas trees with bright shiny lights, and even some decorative lights hung in the down town areas ...
