    ... motion. I have decided we are seriously deprived in the beer stakes but if I lived here I would quickly become George Best. The food is clean precise and for the best part healthy.     ... about 11k distant. The sun is just up and a few cattle stumble into a standing position in the field adjacent. In the immediate view there are similar little farmhouses each with flemish tiled roofs each with chicken or two and a neat kitchen garden. Oh this is the life! Out hostess Lora built the farmstead from a ruin in 2006 with her husband who sadly died in a construction accident 2 years ago. She has a young daughter ...

    ... You never really know how you are going to feel until it happens. Odd to come to such a realization over a sweater, however, when I finally found one I liked it was so comforting to have....

    After the hot chocolates (which everyone should try in Belgium they are soooo delicious) we went back to the apartment, where Jaey and Djuna made me one last delicious home cooked meal. I really adore both of them so much, and they are both such great cooks!

    Jaey and Djuna had planned to take me to Knokke which is referred to as sea side since it is infact sea side. This town was really cute, a bit less character than Brugge, well a lot less because the town is where all the wealthy people in Belgium live. It has all the really expensive stores like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes ...

    ... at the next stop, went back to Gent, and got on the right train, which was 20 minutes late. Once I got into Knokke (finally), called Lynn with a payphone and she came and picked me up, featuring a detour over to the beach, where for the first time, I laid eyes on the Atlantic Ocean.
