Crowns, thrones, jewel, furniture, dinner settings and all the needs of a king and queen are here. Feet and legs were wearing down, we headed back to the market. We bought a beer and grazed through the market stalls consuming many tasty treats. And we got back to our apartment in time for a load of laundry AND a siesta. ... to beat the heat (90!!) and felt good enough to do 30k, which is about 18.5 miles! We are pretty proud and there will be ice cream rewards once we can walk again. We stumbled into the albergue (pilgrim hostel) and just laid down. I literally didn't move for half an hour. I'm looking forward to when my body is more adjusted to this but I'm thankful that the worst thing I've dealt with is soreness and minor blisters. What else? ... t trust the banks with their money and keep all their money hidden at home. They first stared noticing the crisis in 2008, back then the restaurant was full every night and now it's not rare to only have one table a night. However, they haven't laid any staff off because they know they won't get jobs anywhere else due to the high unemployment rate, something they should be so proud of.
Had my heartbroken when they told me school was tomorrow!
