      ... that, and would not drink again till we arrived !!! Anyway, it was sort of a weird surreal night. Everyone settled down, and slept like on planes. But it was really uncomfortable - I wished that I had kept my plane blow up pillow handy, or something to anchor my head. And the seats didn't recline. So I don't think I really slept.       ... Wesselmann and many more. We then went to the permanent exhibition, which is huge and virtually covers the history of European art from the 15th Century onwards. There is so much to see - it is one of the most diverse and excellent collections I have seen in one place. We were spoilt with the wonderful range of paintings, with the artists including:- Picasso, Van Gogh, Rembrant, Rubens, El Greco, Matisse, Gauguin, Monet, Pissarro, Degas, ...

      ... was bleeding quite a bit and it was easy to tell it was tiring, as it didn't move much. I was willing them to finish it. I was shaking and wanted to leave. I didn't see the matodor use the sword, all I knew was his cape was on the ground and the other matadors were using their capes to keep the bull still.       ... running thru tunnels carved thru the mountains - underground, at speed, for large sections of the journey. Arrived at Segovia Guiomar or Segovia AVE, the high speed train stop. Located 8 km from town. Segovia to Madrid commuters had parked their cars all over the place. Paid EUR1.03 each for the bus that took us right to the aqueduct that divides the town.       ... but no aircon. So it's pretty dam hot even overnight. Tomorrow off to San Sebastián for our last 3 days in main land Europe!
