So of course what happened was I somehow put the mini-SD card in the slot wrong and it did not register the extra memory. Then the non-refundable maps of Europe I paid for as a download, would not download because the device thinks it has insufficient memory. Now the card is totally stuck in the slot and cannot be extracted unless I get a screw driver the right size, etc. and I might completely break the darned device if I so much as try that.
... I wandered around La Ribera and the Gothic Quarter for a few hours. First off, there was the main Catedral. I stopped by again just because it is at the heart of Barcelona. Next, I found a church dedicated to St. Peter. It was close to the Arch and was relatively "small." However, it did had high vaulted ceilings and a side chapel. A short ride on the Metro (a 10 ride pass was more than sufficient for us- alot of Barcelona is walkable) and a transfer got us to the Les Corts station. Our destination was not immediately obvious, hidden behind apartment blocks but a few blocks from the station, it came into view.
