Hung over again

... and went for a walk along the strip again but the most of the places where closed up now so we had a pint in an irish bar again and then we went looking for food. We decided to stop off in another english place called Rumours and could not believe it when they put on all the soaps. We caught up with emmerdale and eastenders until I could take no more and we went off to get some chinese food. It was horrid and made us both feel a ...

Too Funny

We made it to the port in a taxi one thing I will say about Morroco its really really cheap for everything and you could get by here with such little money. We got a little hassle from a guy at the port trying to help us but they want money when they help you so as usual Ian left it to me to get rid of him and explain that we did not have any money luckily this time he went off without too much hassle.

We ...

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... whole different world. Everything is in Arabic and French, there´s hardly any english around (you should see the Coca Cola bottles). After a quick town overview, we stepped off the tour bus and into Morocco, and of course, the rain. We were quickly hustled towards the Kasbah while Moroccan street vendors tailed our group selling all kinds of umbrellas. Fortunately we brought our own, but that still didn´t stop some of the vendors from trying to sell us another. After a quick look ...

Day 49 - Good times.

... cleaner. The best part is that Olly decided not to put his water proofing on and just move out of range. This didnt turn out to be a good move because different sprinklers turn on at different times during the night. At least a couple more times in the night we were woken up by Olly moaning "arrghhh, I just got water in the face!! Where is it coming from" (obviously I am seriously toning down the actual ...

Malaga City Tour

... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.

... Mum & Micks for my birthday & to rest before my big adventure in China. The weather was still hot & sunny so i did a lot of swimming & sunbathing by the pool. We all went out for a lovely birthday lunch which was Brazillian style BBQ, they bring you lots of different meats & slad all you can eat! The day before i left Mum's we went to a lovely WOK resturant, which was also all you can eat & we had about 5 courses, the food was delicious! Next stop U.K. Devon, bye for now jo.xx

Happy birthday to me!

... sang along to EVERY word. It was crazy/hilarious, these people that don't speak more than 10 words of english knew all of the lyrics to Summer Nights and Greased Lightning. I got home pretty late and was dreading sitting through 2 and a half hours of lecture this morning, but I got a belated birthday present when the professor came in to tell us that there was a mix up in scheduling and the class would actually be held on ...

Malaga - Madrid

... t have bothered with a car! A taxi would have probably only cost me a fraction of the cost and there is a train from Torremolinos to Malaga for anyone really wanting to go there. To travel further afield, an organised day-trip is probably both cheaper and easier. The major problem is parking. It's hard to find a spot in Torremolinos or Malaga, at least a free one.

Begining of the end

After a weeks work, we found out that the pay was not per month but per week... which makes this the most poorly paid job we've ever done (and that includes me being a milkboy). Leni was ready to go, but I couldn't really see either of us getting jobs until the summer, which would mean living on bread n water.... well, bread n wine. So we stayed on, looking forward to the summer. They gave us a villa to use (a weeks pay a month), which belonged to a friend of theirs. We ...
