... the leaves off. Out in the open again we tried some trotting. You had to hold the reins in one hand and hold the saddle, with the other hand you had to hold his mane, I did ask if this hurt and Jenny said no, it was better to hold here then pull his reins which were in his mouth or to be jumping all over his back because then we would be trying to counter weight you all the time. We did this a few times and it was great fun. As we approached ...
Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand gaz-lj... just like Magaluf! Every night there is a new theme, we have had UV night, ladies night, sex night....! Apart from going out I went on a gondela to the top of one of the mountains and the views were fantastic. Also went to the Botanic gardens where we played on the swings and underwater world where you can just see everything below the surface of the lake. Lots of eels and fish!
We got on the bus to Dun Eden which is the student ...
... the mountains and the hills and the lakes! last night we went into town and dean had read about a bar crawl so we went to see what it looked like - it didnt look too busy so we didnt go on it despite them trying to encourage us. we had a few drinks and then walked around the small town to check out the other bars - nothing was that busy and then we walked into a bar where the barcrawl had headed. he said he's give us discounted passes and also rig the prize draw so we would win a ...
Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand deanandshira... gallery. This was interesting and introduced us to his creation the "Lonely Dog". We are informed that this name will soon become very well known in the world of movies. You heard it here first!
Bumped into a former Mt Gambier high student Abby Chapman in a Queenstown shop today. She was on holiday enjoying her time. Small world!!

... just rolled off a mountain somewhere in our, now quite battered, traveling clothes. It’s not really going to help our job search situation but I’m going to have a tough time convincing Steve to part with any cash to be able to improve my wardrobe when we’re counting every penny.
The budget has been hit very hard since we got here and we have already spent about three times as much as we did in South America in one week here! That is ...
... was a little flat, which was nice of him!! We set off back down the road to Te Anau, this time stopping along the way at lots of cool little places. There was the Chasm - dramatic sounding river where the rock changed from hard to soft, the Divide - another dramatic sounding place but we didnt see it because it was a long walk (ok we sound lazy but we had a long way to drive and a 30 min round trip cuts down your time!). We had to drive up a really long winding road, then ...
Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand wollifer... We landed at the Milford terminal with our complementary sandwiches and transferred straight onto a 2-hour cruise out on the water of the Sound. The cruise took us 15km out to the mouth of the Sound where it meets with the Tasman sea with some waterfall and seal spotting along the way.
The plane took us back to Queenstown and we enjoyed a night in at the hotel restaurant ready for an early start the next day.
... he was very brave, but he did make a disproportionate yell as he jumped which made people in the pod laugh. One girl was utterly terrified and was in tears all the time. She actually managed to do it though which everyone was impressed with and she got a round of applause when she'd been whinched back up to the pod. The days activities took longer than expected and we weren't sure whether to spend another night in Queenstown or whether to head to ...
Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand claramon... i'm telling you, on every wall there was something to read! i got quite bored to be honest and did think that maybe the more childish, hands on ginger beer tour was more for me! however, i shouldn't really bad mouth this part of the distillery tour because there were some fake vats, pumping through fake water and yeast and everything else that goes through to make rum, as well as displays of the impliments used to make one of the giant vats that stores the rum during the ...
Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand vickz_2... ifs’. Finally we all packed into the back of the plane: Me, two other jumpers, the instructors we’d be strapped to and the person taking my video and photos. It was a very tight squeeze. The plane rumbled over to the grass airstrip, bounced along it as we picked up speed and then was in the air. We climbed in a never-ending circle for what seemed like hours, plenty of time for us jumpers to be strapped to the instructors, put on a cap and goggles and have even ...
