... on to Wakefield a further 2 hours on where we found an overnight camping place on the Sunday Lake. It was a really sweet place with power for hook ups and water taps. It's called the North Lakeland Discovery center, and it was at one point a summer camp for the area's youth. It is now used primarily for events. reunions, retreats, that sort of thing. The director signed the camp up on warmshowers, and luckily there is no overnight program today, so I get to stay in the bunkhouse, a large, clean, carpeted room with several bunks, lights, power and wifi! I got on the bike a bit after 6am today with cloudy skies, but dry ground. That ...
