Today was our last full day in Pecs. Tomorrow Dee and I will catch the train to Budapest where we will have one more day before our departure to Calgary and home. Pécs is a colourful historic town near Hungary's southern border filled with art, museums, decorative tile and Roman Ruins. Pécs has one of the two largest Universities in Hungary, rivalling Budapest. With 30,000 students, Pecs has a youthful feel. Our 3 hr train ride to Pécs was quite pleasant. After leaving Budapest I took a really pretty train journey through the Hungarian countryside to Pecs, a town in southern Hungary.
