... dolphins and with babies so unfortunately we could not swim with them. We continued out to the hole in the rock where the ship went through the hole and we went past the light house. On the way back we saw two seals. After the boat trip we headed back south, this time we went via the 10minute car ferry. ... We had lunch at a lovely spot where you could climb up the hill and have 360 degree views of the bay! Quite spectacular. We went right through the hole in the rock which was exciting and we saw two very active pods of dolphins...they were plentiful and very playful! Best I have ever seen! Many of the homes are private holiday homes leaving only a caretaker there most of the year! The sun finally came out at 3:00 ready for a beautiful week next week...but alas, we will be ...

... lots of bright sunny days but a fair few cloudy and grey and a persistent and quite cool wind. Don and I woke to another clear New Zealand morning despite the fact that there was the slightest touch of rain overnight. The rain was so slight that the tent was dry when we packed it up for the last time. We gave away our coolers and some cooking/eating utensils to people we had met in the park and packed everything else in preparation for the trip home.
