I can't believe a month ago I was picking my parents up at the Queenstown airport, trying to keep them awake to fend off jet lag. It has become so normal having them here. Now we are in Auckland and they are leaving for a few days in Sydney before they go back to reality. That means we are a month away from coming back to reality ourselves. While most of the group head down to the waterfront to check out the resteraunts, Colin and I decide that a night in will be beneficial for our waistlines and our wallets. So its fish and chips for dinner - much better at about $8.50 rather than $50 - $60 - and we buy a half carton of Heineken and enjoy a beer or two in front of the tele watching some Super Rugby game.

... to some very large trees. I think they were the biggest in NZ. They were called Te Matua Ngahere, it's a giant Kauri. We walked through a rainforest and throughout it there were these large trees everywhere. We finally made it to this area where you can sit and when you looked up you saw the biggest tree ever!
