We woke early - about 7ish and went for a little walk to the Hunua waterfall. It was v impressive, perhaps more than usual due to the recent heavy rain. After this we packed up and drove to Waitomo. ... Everything in Chile is VERY Spanish - better start learning! (Phrase of the day today: tu sabes donde esta? = do you know where is?) As we stepped out the bright lights burned our eyes and the glare from the ocean stunned us. The view was obviously panoramic but it was just breathtaking to see Auckland look so miniature and cute.
