... hardly any time left. Nicholle flies on Sunday into Sydney and is spending the first week at her god parents house 45 mins from Sydney. Then I fly out to meet her on 5th Dec. Then the true adventure begins.
This week has been fairly stressful, especially for Nic. Visa problems, New year accomodation and the dreaded packing. Anyone that knows Nic and I know that we aren't your typical backpackers, to say the ...
... now in Northampton, tomorrow we leave for Dover, and on Friday morning we board the ferry for France. Hurrah! If all goes according to plan :-) We'll let you know how we get on of course.
Having got our hands back on everything we own, we're now able to upload some pictures we took of our time in Norfolk, in case anyone fancies a look. They're below.
Hopefully the next entry will come from France, please cross fingers for us.
The last few weeks have been really manic while we've prepared to put our furniture into storage and get our property ready for letting. Thankfully, most of the hard work is completed and now we can concentrate on getting ready for our travels. It's difficult to believe that we leave in just under a week!
We fly into Delhi on Monday, arriving very early ...
... So I am starting my trip with a head torch yes, but alas no high heels. It is absolutely terrifying knowing that I have exactly 2 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of walking trouseurs, a pair of jeans, 3 t-shirts, 2 vests, a fleece, a "going out" top (to where I don't know) and 1 dress to last me for the duration! I do however have ever piece of kit under the sun packed, I may have absolutely no idea what I am letting myself in for but I ...
Leamington Spa, England, United Kingdom corrilesa... of the world walk by. But I miss my home and I am glad to be returning.
The flights back home were busy with it being Friday afternoon and flying home always seems like it takes ages simply because I look forward to being back.
Home now though for the weekend, we start it all off again on Monday as we go to Vilnius.
Hello everyone!
First of all I would like to say a very very big thank you to everyone at Colsterworth School for my card! I loved the book with all my goodbye messages. I will be looking after Frederick and making sure he has a good time with me ...
... all of the people turn up that did on Thursday, made me feel very loved and I can't wait to see you all again and tell you of all the things I get up to. You all mean the world to me and if any of you get the cash or motivation to escape lovely England then let me know and I'll make sure I'm at the airport to meet you!
So now until I arrive down under I bid you adieu

... the first two already - we naturally haven’t. However, the last is beyond our control as we wait for the paid professional services to organise the sales in the chain.
We know that we have a lot to do and pressure of impending deadlines is a strong motivator, but the total uncertainty of the completion timeline for the flat is horribly unnerving. What happens if the solicitor in the middle doesn ...
Tow truck 3, turns up at 20:30, we get loaded up and set off at 20:45 only to find out that the AA have sent me a driver that needs to take his 45 minute break in under an hour. So I waited an extra 1.5 hours for him to arrive and then I have to wait ...
East Leake, England, United Kingdom peterward... a P51 Mustang was swooping ferociously down the flightline. Dad just about fell out of the car in his haste to get through the gates. We all followed and watched the pilot thoroughly enjoy showing us what this roaring aircraft could do, and it looked particularly at home over the misty hills of England. The museum is huge and beautifully set out and really interesting, even if planes are not particularly your thing. There is plenty of stuff about life ...
