B&B was ok in the end, smelt damp when I arrive. Took longer route along canal. Lots of ups and downs today and lots of long barrows including hetty peglers tump which you needed a torch for because you went in so far. Climbed tyndale beacon which got narrower and narrower as you got higher, not much space at the top. Weather good again, a bit cooler today ...

... heading back into the Salisbury traffic and set off on our cross country drive to Canterbury. The cathedral, or what we saw of it was pretty grand so it was a shame we only got a small quick glimpse.
