    ... a campfire which represented the best of what family and being together through thick and thin means to me. It was one of the special hopes of this trip come true.

    So as we prepare to leave the mountains and head to the flat lands of eastern Colorado and Kansas and Missouri, I'm thankful for the adventure and truthfully longing for my own bed. But between now and then there are more adventures to come and few more friends to pester.
