... we are in the city of Debrecen, which is closer to Budapest than Opalyi and also the home of Orshi (Eva and Zsili's other daughter). We went out in the down of Debrecen, stopping for dessert and espresso with the family. We are going to spend the night here in Debrecen at Orshi and Adam's home. Last night after I had blogged, Mark & Sarah arrived in their hire car, after the Bedford van (mobile brothel!) was declared kaput, and after them having to spend a night in Prague, to cheers from the rest of us and offers of beer, wine & food! They had driven 7 hours to catch up & were exhausted.
Then the clouds over the mountains cleared so I tried to take some photos - tried being the word because each time I pressed the button the message on the screen said ...
... know about how much it should cost to get home. He named his price and we laughed at him and a few minutes later, while we were waiting for another cab, he called us back over and offered us a reasonable price. Oh, Hungary.
Well, tomorrow around 7AM I head off for my Serbia trip! I don't have any pictures of my adventures this week, but I'll be sure to take tons on my Serbian adventure. I'll write again soon!
... to play this upcoming Thursday at 9 PM. Awesome. However, when we started playing, none of us were in proper basketball attire, one guy even played in flip flops! Luckily, I've played a game or two of "Pig" in my lifetime and I scored about 16 points! Unfortunately, I have no defense whatsoever. Oh well, I had so much fun! I look forward to next Thursday! And enjoy my crazy pictures! I almost died trying to take them from the clock tower.
... I decided I would rather return home and get some sleep for my- wait for it- TENNIS TOURNAMENT! Pardon my excitement, but I haven't played tennis in about a month now and I can finally get some use out of my racquet here! So I headed home early with my new Hungarian friend Roland.
Well, now I need to get some sleep, I hope my tennis game isn't too rusty... I'll write again soon!
