Up early to get to Briars Junior Ranger Nature Walk 9.30am, had breakfast with what we had pkt cerial and coffee, found parking ... early enough and a bit quieter after yesterdays grand central station, walked through forrest to the centre and it was locked !!! They had shut for the season yesterday !!! A very helpful lady from Michigan helped us and we had a half hour chat her and her husband retired ...

Big storm on the way that should hit Wednesday and drop snow higher up on the passes and lots of rain and fierce winds here. It's supposed to hang around for a few days and then get nice again for a while. It will probably turn the aspens and then the photo opportunities will be amazing.
