... and the wind and rain had not relented. Ryan and I opted to stay in our cozy log cabin for a few more hours of sleep. ... were the small players here while Spar and Super Spar are the dominant grocery retailers. Most food items are cheaper than in Australia and the displays where magnificent. Actually – not that good as many things are not covered and they still have salad bars with just a open glass cover (long banned in Australia.)

... that looks out over the golf course and forest area. There is a fence around the property with a 24 hour guard gate. We sat out by the pool for awhile after unpacking. The pool was too cool to swim. Tonight we had dinner at the lodge. Tried a new fish, Kingklip. It was excellent. A good beginning to our first day in South Africa.
