Our sleep schedule has drastically changed since Europe. Today was considered a sleep in as we didn't have to be at breakfast until 7:30 AM. After cereal and fruit we headed out on one last nature walk at our bush lodge. All seventeen of us trekked quietly through the bush. Then Gods window which is awesome view of valley. Natural bush looks just like a garden!! Budlia's and aloes growing wild. Also tree ferns but they all look burnt, Brian said they are native. Everywhere closes at lunchtime so we strolled to the museum, went in and it looked like it had been burgled, a few photos hanging cock-eyed on the wall and some rocks around which you weren’t sure if they were part of the exhibition ...
... that looks out over the golf course and forest area. There is a fence around the property with a 24 hour guard gate. We sat out by the pool for awhile after unpacking. The pool was too cool to swim. Tonight we had dinner at the lodge. Tried a new fish, Kingklip. It was excellent. A good beginning to our first day in South Africa.
