Here we are on the outskirts of Kruger National Park, after a five-hour drive. E was fine, despite our misgivings - he slept in his car seat for a couple of hours in the morning, played in a fabulous baby room and had a nappy change at the most kiddy-friendly roadhouse I've ever seen, and then slept for another ...
... that looks out over the golf course and forest area. There is a fence around the property with a 24 hour guard gate. We sat out by the pool for awhile after unpacking. The pool was too cool to swim. Tonight we had dinner at the lodge. Tried a new fish, Kingklip. It was excellent. A good beginning to our first day in South Africa.
