    Wednesday 29th/Thursday 30th October Managed to get the train to get us to the airport at 9am as we had bad memories of Rome airport in 2010 trying to get through security, it was a nightmare.     ... are the massive chimney stacks of the coal fired Lamma Power Station ,built in 1982 (with several later additions) for Hongkong Electric, the station provides power to Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island. there is also the Lamma Wind station but the smog made that invisible today.
