... rest of the afternoon was spent walking around the old city and squares. To warm up we stopped at a pastry shop and had some warm drinks and cakes (cherry pie and a chocolate croissant). And just before we got on the train home, we bought more cakes (another eclair, a raisin/custard thing, and a slice of cherry pie) for dessert back in Eindhoven.

So at home now - eating spaghetti with meatballs. Tomorrow is relaxo day - sleep in, walk around town, watch TV.

In Remouchamps liepen we door een grote grot met vele gangen. Een ondergrondse rivier voer dwars door de grot 10 meter lager dan waar wij liepen. Jammer dat we niet in een bootje deze rivier af konden zakken. Wel mochten we genieten van de vele stalactieten en stalagnieten... Toen we weer buiten op straat stonden, kon Manoe niet geloven dat we in die berg hadden gelopen: "dat kan niet, want daar staan allemaal bomen op....!"

... destination and me and D would walk up the street to our residence. Easy enough. 
 
This soon turned out to be a poor decision. We thought we could carry our luggage if we took frequent breaks while getting there. But it turned out to be too far. The next best thing was to get one of many taxi's around the station. The rate for the first 2 km was a flat rate of 7.50 euros.
