A travel blog entry by lcrigby on Jun 11, 2015

The sun was streaming though the window this morning, it was going to be a belter of a day. We didn't go for a walk this morning as we were heading off to Shaw Lane cricket ground in Barnsley as Yorkshire second XI were playing against Northampton second XI in a twenty20. The big drawcard for the game was that Aaron Finch was returning from an injury and playing ...

Woke up in an ibis hotel coz Knaps and I had split up and she had the keys. Got back to house and then left at 11am for the North. That was 7 hours ago as I type this and it is a 3 hour drive normally. There was an incident on the freeway and they just closed it?! What the actual ****. 8 hours stuck in a car together has sucked but we made it funny ...

Gemma got me a lovely green handbag :) Knaps went for an interview so conveniently didn't have to socialise with us at all... Headed out to the Borough Market and had heaps of chips and pulled pork bap! Sat in sun ...

"This can't be the right street, where is Otley?....no sign of the TdF at all"

    "WTF...how did we get here?"

I pulled over and checked the Navman....I reentered the destination, first selecting Otley and then entering the street Westbourne Grove.....the Navman responded directly and said we were already there. In disbelief I switched the bloody thing off and back on again, entered ...

... for some lunch. I had a Yorkshire beef bolognaise with garlic bread what was so delicious. I asked for a starter and they charged me for a starter but gave me a main so I was cheering. When I finished my lunch I went back up to the motel room and watched TV until it was tea time. 7:30 came and I decided to go back downstairs for dinner. I had the same thing as I had for lunch because it tasted so good. I thought the round plate I had for lunch was a starter because that's what ...
