Nothing much to report to day. We went into Leek a Historic Market Town in Staffordshire, to buy more plastic boxes, we just can't contain our excitement any longer(sorry I had to say that before any one else did). We arrived back just as the heavens opened. ...

Day 8. After a morning spent fitting a cupboard door, with some difficulty, we drove back the lovely Spa town,Buxton. We called at the "Druids" to catch up on the news, water the plants and tap into the wifi. A trip to the supermarket was needed to stock up on supplies for the weekend. Debs doesn't think I'm mad when I tried out my plans to her to get some sort of feedback.

Dinner time tonight was at A Tavola, Italian restaurant, the only decent rating place #17 in Selby (don't believe all the reviews on Tripadvisor.com especially when Fish & Chips shops and pubs rate 1, 2...16 ). You have got to wonder what meatheads do these reviews.
Anyway, the service and food at A Tavola was superb....I will do my bit to address the meathead imbalance by submitting an excellent review for this joint!

We are on the way again after a week at home. John and Vanessa join us at Lemonroyd Lock by the Marina and we head off on the second stage of our summer trip. First stop is Castleford to fill up with diesel, a simple process you might think, just like filling the car!!

Not quite so easy on the boat.

Two hours later after the chap at the Marina who was ...
