When we got into Pontresina, Joel and Bart continued with the bus further into town to return our gear and pay for hiring it, while Brigitte and I sorted out dinner.

We walked a short distance to the slope, and luckily my shoes felt a lot better as I went half a size up and did them up looser. The ski field was busy with a lot of little kids practicing. Gosh they were good and I just stayed out of the way. It is a bit daunting when a 3 year old comes racing past you.

Brigitte was great and went with me on the t-bar lift and stayed with me as I practiced the slopes and what she told me. Joel ...

... and the Krazy Kanguruh, however the slopes were a lot busier and also icier. Don't get me wrong - the skiing/boarding is still great.
On the other hand, the Lech side (Lech, Zug and Zurs) seemed to have the better slopes - wide, open, not too crowded, and much more powder.
So you really have to decide what you prefer more...

... was postponed until the next day due
to the falling snow making the track unusable. But we got to see the bob-sleds and the track which was really cool.

As we were walking towards St Moritz we walked past the skeleton run and heard a bit of commotion. As we got to the run we saw that the men were not deterred by the snow and were doing time trials. Skeleton sledding is different as it is solo and you race head first. Sounds a bit crazy ...
