... about 7min left, we raced to find and board our train and made it with a minute to spare. We settled in to our mostly private carriage and tucked into our breakfast of potato chip sandwiches (using bread we'd stashed away from last night's restaurant), sweet breads brought from the grocery story, and bottled water. After breakkie, we all slept through most of the 5hour train ride, and only woke when the ticket inspector came to validate our tickets.

We left Munich this morning, catching a train to Salzburg. The noticeable things on this 2 hour trip was the manicured farmland, copy cat buildings, large lakes of water and snow on the surrounding mountains.
