... At the show, we were served Chinese rice wine . . Described as sweet and sour. It was terrible! Milky, luke warm . . NOT good!

Our trip in China started in Beijing. I was blown away by the amount of smog as we flew in. You couldn't see anything until we were almost landing. I had heard about the severity of it, but I still couldn’t believe it when I saw it. It really made me thankful that I live in cleaner air than that, and it helped me visualize the effect we have as humans on the quality of the atmosphere. Flight from Shanghai, China to Fuduoka, Japan - about 1 1/2 hour flight with a 5 hour 50 minute layover

From Fuduoka, Japan to Honolulu, Hawaii - 10 hours 40 minute flight with an almost six hour layover

So far everything has been going swimmingly, the right stamps issued by the right departments, just one more to get, and Ted rang to say he wants to meet at Gregs apartment...

The last government department said NO to Teds application to sponsor a Z visa and residence permit application. No explanation, I meet or exceed their requirements, no reasons listed for the declined application... Just No.

So I am on a job hunt again!
