Today is a long drive day and we are making our way down to the south of China. The landscape has changed again and it has been so enjoyable just passing the time watching the Chinese world go by whilst listening to my iPod. Another very uneventful drive day today, on the road at 7.30am driving along a very very bumpy road at low speeds for most of the day, mostly following lushly forested valleys as we continue south along the south-eastern most edge of the Tibetan plateau.

We stopped in a roadside village for lunch at about 2pm for a large plate of fried rice, accompanied by chilli flakes ...

... we did while we tried to relax. In the end we started to take some pictures with them, and have a bit of fun and then they dragged the 3 of us off to this little recreation center to play ping pong! We took turns playing with them, it was really fun and a great experience. They were great kids! When it got near to the time we had to catch our train we said goodbye and returned to the station. Train left @ 3.45pm and arrived in Chengdu 6am the ...
