Caught train with Stephen and Will out to Linhai to see the 'Great Wall', supposed to be second to the 'Great Wall' at Beijing. In fact a City Wall. ... babies but diapers on the goats! Pretty funny . . . . As we rode along, there were tons of these tiny store fronts . . Looked like there might be small houses in behind . . . Selling all sorts of tires and steel and metal pipes . . Small restaurants . . And then you'd come across a huge modern high rise . . . Also along the road were many high rise apartment buildings that looked totally abandoned . . Almost like it was easier ...
... During that weekend, we ate very well, there were a lot of fruits and nuts, and the meals Barry's parents cooked for us were plentiful. I also tasted the best 炒面 (Chao Mian, or fried noodles) I've ever had. When I thought the weekend couldn't get any better, we were served Chinese tea, and it was definitely the greatest tasting tea I've ever tasted.
