Trip out of Shanghai today to Suzhou about 80 km from Shanghai. 36 degrees so thankful for the coach air con. The bar served good drinks and McDonald's food disguised as their own menu items (seriously).
We drank probably a bit too much considering we leave for Beijing at 7:15 tomorrow, but oh well.
Looking forward to tomorrow. but I will miss all my Chinese friends!

Today was our day where the teachers had to take what they've learned and apply it to their classrooms.
We modelled a literacy lesson in the morning, and they had the whole afternoon to develop their own lesson using our strategies and their textbook.
It went really well.
After school, we had an early dinner as we had to prepare for our gala celebration in the evening.

Observations & Notes – Convenient store snacks are really bizarre and include tea soaked eggs. The toppings at Papa Johns are even more bizarre. The highways have fake police car cutout props to make drivers think there’s actually a police car ahead.
