After one hour flight delay, we arrived in Guangzhou at 4pm but the connection on Turkish doesn't leave until 11pm. Kinda awkward timing as it's too little time to go into the city 41km away but too long until the check in counter opens at 7:30pm. It was nothing to worry about, just a flashing 'critical failure' light on one of the engines. After a few minutes of engine revving in the stand-by zone we were deemed 'Okay to fly' and we took off.
Eleven hours and 36 minutes later we landed in Sunny England.
