... sold for the "soft seat" cars and there was also plenty of leg room and even a couple shared power outlets. ... large garden areas and it inspires us to consider doing something more in Maui.
Lunch is at one of the most renowned pot sticker restaurants in Asia, Ding Tai Feng, which started in Taipei and now has locations in several cities in China. The food was really great, and we especially liked the chestnut and chestnut paste in steamed dumplings/pot stickers for dessert.
Now we are off to the closer in domestic airport, for our journey ...

... not too strenuous and we stopped many times to take in our surroundings, catch our breath and take a few photos. It was VERY foggy day.


Later in the day we ventured out again, this time walking down to the entry of The Xihau Grand Canyon - a 4km roundtrip. There were many pretty areas, but the fog hung around and the area’s full spectacle was unfortunately ...

We were snug and warm in bed when the thunderstorm struck overnight. It continued to be a wet day.


After dumplings and fresh soy milk for breakfast, we went for an early morning stroll at 8.30am, hoping we were to have the village to ourselves. Unfortunately not ... the tour buses had descended upon Hongcun nice and early as well! Oh well, this is China after all! How we finally managed to ...
