... we arrived back in Hangzhou. I can't say enough about Huangshan. It is a trip I will never forget, and I have a feeling my legs won't for a while either. The BEST thing that this experience of living abroad has given me is the friendships I've made with these people. They will last a lifetime. <3 I am such a lucky girl.

Until next time, I will be floatin' in the wind....

For lunch that afternoon we made our way over to a fairly new and very nice hotel with stunning views out over the peaks and valley below and sat down for our meal. Luckily with those lowered ...

As it was raining we were all hoping we would be able to see at least somethig, as it was foggy as well. Luckily we could see a lot by ...

It's been a while, I've been back to Japan for one week, stayed in Hong Kong for another week and now I'm in China! In Huangshan, famous for its Yellow Mountains, where I will go to as soon as I have my first day off. Same as in Busan and Kibichuo(Okayama) I'm doing volunteerwork here as well. But it's definitely different from the places before. 1) I'm the only volunteer ...

I got my passport back last week and finally went on an excursion outside of Qingdao! Rather than going on a quick getaway I decided to take a 23 hour sleeper train down to Huangshan Shi in Anhui province. I met my friend Ollie who's studying in Tianjin down there. Anhui had loadsa bamboo, a mystical mountain and a couple of ancient villages to explore. It was great but very wet.
    Our first day there ...
