This week I thought, due to my success with grade six a few
weeks ago, that I would try and teach my grade five a song. Now I did get a bit
carried away with myself and in my first class I tried to teach them the lyrics
to “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift as I thought the lyrics would be easy however
this was not the case and the song was much to hard. Still they gave it their
best which was good but I wont make that ...
they couldn’t speak English but apparently the guy had a translation app on his
phone so they mainly spoke using broken English on a translator. Anyway this
guy, Adrian’s new friend was kind enough to invite Adrian to show him the
“famous food” of Weifang.

This morning we were graced with the morning off in honour
of the “sports and food” festival that our school was holding. From 8 – 10 the
school would have its annual “sports meeting” or sports carnival as we would
call it. As we all wanted a sleep in we decided that we weren’t going to the school
until about 9:30, just in time to see the end of the carnival and be there for
the beginning of the “food festival” in which ...

First I was going to get everyone to draw and cut out the face and eyes for
their ghost… then I would get them to glue it on the cups so I could hand out
the plastic bags for the ghostly tail. The kids were a bit confused at first
