... for. We spent the rest of our time walking to some temples and some tombs. ... their belly, draped over rocks to hanging near upside down in trees. We were so captivated by our new favourite animal that we ended u being late back to the min bus, making our group wait in the process.

The toilets were also excellent and they included an option for a wash and blow dry. After the early morning start we decided to relax at the hostel for a while that afternoon and enjoyed chatting with our fellow travellers / Panda lovers.

... br> In places the countryside reminded me of the Blue Mountains with eucalypts, large rocky outcrops and also patches of red earth, flowering acacias and blue gums.

We eventually arrived in a large city called Luipanshui where hordes of people got on. Then the train left in the opposite direction and we went back down the way we'd just come for a couple of hours! It was a side trip we’d not expected but I was so glad ...

... t understand why I was putting my body through such hell. When I got to the peak I still didn't understand why I had done it. When I only considered the sights I had seen, then it was not worth the pain I went through to see a big statue and clouds moving through the mountains. It is when I think about the friends I made and the pain we went through together that I consider climbing Emei to have been a good decision.

The history of this alley is that government officials and military officers would live on broad alley while the lower ranks and other workers lived on the narrow alley.
