I have a $3 bottle of wine (sorry Dad) and a pack of Oreos waiting for supper - the lights are off and people are snoring already. 41 bands people, Maori performers and management sardined in a train travelling 700km in the dark on 'beds' the like which are only surpassed by those the 2009 band slept in in Kerkrade - fortunately only 1 night this time....perhaps the rocking motion will bring sweet dreams - if not the wine ...

... friend’s shop. He is a painter; he does black and white paintings just using his fingers. They are really beautiful and he is one of the only people in that shopping area that actually makes the art he sells. I had told my friend that we were going to be in Xi’an but he said that he was in his hometown. But when we went to the shop there was a guy doing the paintings. He said he was Zeng Bing, my friend’s name, but he did not recognize me. I hadn’t seen him ...

... something unidentifiable ( they serve that a lot), and mystery meat. I opt out of everything except rice and potatoes.
My meal choked down,I am glad that I have gotten through another morning here. I don't know what the rest of my day holds for me , but I can be certain what I will be doing tomorrow morning and then the morning after that ,and the next one, and the next one.... Well you get the point.
