    ... this…. we hadn't bought return tickets at the Hong Kong terminal as we'd been told that we could buy them at Macau for the same price, and as we didn't know what time we'd want to come back, we thought that was the better option, but what we didn't know was just how many people would be heading to Hong Kong, and how quickly the ferries sold out.

    After asking if there were any other options, we finally booked on the 8.30pm ferry ...

    ... and humidity probably didn't help either! We then went, via Pizza Hut, to a beautiful monastery and gardens which were stunning.

    After a couple of days sightseeing, we were pretty shattered and luckily Ash had finished work for the weekend so we went to her Rooftop pool at the Conrad and chilled out for the day - oh the life of a backpacker!!     ... For now, I do not believe China is “eyeing off” the US, UK or any other Western country for military or any other expansionist motives.     ... and all sorts of tricks. Contortionists, martial arts and stunning fountain/light shows kept us entertained as the main characters struggled to free a princess from an evil queen. The show ended with some truly impressive dives off swing and platforms. Some of them looked to be from about 20m high (the roof opened to reveal some platforms).
