... We visited 2 of them on our own. We skipped the third and smallest, very crowded, it is where the chariot is. Teegan was excited to get a chocolate ice cream cone, kids will be kids. Ice cream and popsicles are pretty cheap so they get them often which even the big girls like.

Ok so Xi'an. good job we found out in time that the terracotta warriors were here and not in beijing. Train here wasnt too bad and we started off going to some temples (as usual) and the bell tower and drum tower that are the main landmarks. ... and of course, receiving gifts the children had made for us, and a group picture. As we said our good-byes and walked back down the road now littered with the red paper of firecrackers and the smell of fire, we were grateful for the opportunity to do such a small thing for those who are doing the big things everyday.
