... south east to Nanjing and into Jiangshu Province. The railway station in Zhengzhou was an undulating mass of shuffling humanity flowing off to different tracks and waiting trains. ... the 2014 youth Olympics (which I didn't know was a thing). I went to a Buddhist temple near the old Ming walls, the walked on the wall to the park entrance. I then visited the tomb of the first Ming emperor (the only one not buried In Beijing) and the tomb of Sun Yat-Sen--acknowledged by both Nationalists and Communists as the father of republican China.
