Three days in Changsha
There were these three people, Chen, Wang and me, travelled three days in Changsha.
We visited the city museum where a really really old lady was putting in, and the second place was the first Normal School where chairman Mao used studied in.
We also found out many special foods, like spicy lobster, some kind of noodles …
Dodging spit and snot
... in the air and through the entire city.
I did really appreciate being able to spend some time with an uncle there though, who stays because he has a genuine heart for the poor/deprived/uneducated there.
We also learned how pathetically UN-Chinese we are. Mostly, because our "Mantonese" wasn't cutting it as we tried to maneuver through the city. I am utterly ashamed to admit that on our last day there, we were ...
My story book of life
... while many others are traveling) I can save some money for our next big holiday and have some alone time to explore and get my apartment in order. Pretty much everyone travels this week and it is an absolute mess, I wish I had a picture of the train station when I went to return some tickets. Total chaos. I am finding things to do though!

I met Akon this week in Changsha...Random? Yes
... American teachers. They have been very friendly and available when I cant seem to figure something out (they have helped us with anything from translating our Chinese washing machine and hot plate to teaching us what buses to take).
The campus is very beautiful. It is a newer campus, about 4 or so years old. There are about 1700 students, most of which board at the school. Kids get very excited when they see me and ...
