    ... doors of the ferry got stuck so nobody could get off. In the end, free drinks were issued, the boat was turned round and, 3 hours later, the lorries were reversed off and we were able to get on our way.
    We drove 80 km and arrived at our campsite (Monte Royal), having gone over a mountainous area with snow poles already in situ at the side of the road, at 10.15pm but, being Spain, were able to order a simple meal at the bar. It was a chilly evening at this altitude.

    ... es and brussels sprouts for dinner.

    I had a chat with one of the hospitaleros, played with and pet their sweet but dirty golden retriever. Me and Ryan also took a walk behind and below our hostel, which opened up to this vast wetland or blue and green plant life. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were optimistic that tonight we would finally catch up on some sleep.

    Later we found a place that was open for dinner past 6 and before 830, which is a challenge. Abby really got screwed as she ordered some blue cheese croquettes, and the waiter kindly informed her they were out of the blue cheese ones but offered her the crab variety.     ... a miracle. We rounded the corner and this cute little Spanish grandma wearing a floral apron, was standing outside by her table with fresh coffee and snacks. I could have cried.
