... and the second fastest. We managed to fit in 5 roller coasters. El Toro was the first and probably the most fun, a wooden roller coaster, the fastest one we went on with the most G's put on us. Went on Bizarro next a weed twist on a superman ride, flung us about a lot with 9 loops. Not my favourite. ... we decided to go to the Natural History Museum. Despite an admission charge on the door being $88 for the both of us we got away with paying just $2, as they charge a 'suggested donation'. Walked round a bunch of exhibits didn't thing much of them eventually made our way up to the top floor where, for the first time we saw a dinosaur skeleton. Here I managed to check my Aussie bank statement when I found out that I had got my tax rebate ...

New York to Washington

What a time to be heading to Washington - the US Government could be suspended today because of issues with spending, and in particular Obama Care. Just in time for us to arrive so we'll see what effect it has on us as it could mean museums like the Smithsoneon are closed! On our last day we took the shuttle to NJ train from Penn Station New Jersey to Penn Station New York ( third stop)/ From there we took the subway to meet our friends at the Salisbury Hotel, near Carnegie Hall. We showed them the subway map (uptown , downtown, east and west. They each bought a 6 day pass, and we all headed to Brooklyn. Took the Clark station exit and walked to the water ...
