Europe 2015 was our longest adventure so far. We enjoyed all the places we visited and stayed and all the things we saw. We effectively met the challenges we faced along the way, but now that we are back, "there's no place like home". We were essentially on-the-go for 63 days without a true break. ... and started hiking up the red-blazed Asbury Trail. Initially, it passes a lake, though it was completely dry. The trail then heads upstream along Matthews Creek. It was clear that not a lot of other people had hiked this trail recently as the spider webs across the trail were awful. Clearing them with hiking poles was only marginally effective. Aunt Jane had a great breakfast waiting for us when we woke up this morning. Caden of course finished first so she took him out to feed the birds from the dock. They have a great back yard that fills up with water at high tide and empties out at low tide. Caden loved exploring this interesting area which is nothing like we have near our home.
